How It Works

Whether it’s because of budget constraints or because you’re the type that loves to create all the special touches yourself, Philadelphia Floral Guild can help with DIY flowers!

Shop just like a florist!  Select your preferred flowers and foliage by the bunch from our online shop a week in advance of your event.  You’ll have access to our full inventory and can choose whatever makes you happiest and brings your vision to life.

DIY flowers must be pre-ordered and are picked up from our Hub in Northwest Philly on Wednesday mornings.

To get started:

Step 1: Set up a free account on Rooted Farmers

We use an e-commerce platform called Rooted Farmers to sell our flowers. You'll need to set up an account in advance of ordering flowers. Choose "Buy Flowers for Retail" when prompted. We suggest setting up an account well in advance of the date you need flowers so you have time to explore the site.

Step 2: Shop Online 8AM Friday Through 7PM Monday

The DIY shop opens each Friday at 8AM and closes on Mondays at 7PM for orders that are to be picked up that week. It is important to note that there are many farms using the Rooted Farmers site to sell their flowers. This can cause some confusion so be sure you filter for Philadelphia Floral Guild only.

Step 3: Pick Up Your Flowers Wendesday Morning

After you've placed your order, be sure to set a reminder for yourself to pick up your flowers on Wednesday between 9AM and 12:30PM.

“Designing our own bud vases with DIY buckets was one of the highlights of our wedding weekend. Yes, we had to plan in advance to have sufficient beer and wine bottles (our "bud vases") and to make sure the timing would work, but in the end, I'm so glad we did this DIY option. The flowers were stunning, pickup from the farm was easy, and designing our own centerpieces was so fun. We picked up from the farm on Friday and designed bud vases Saturday morning for a Sunday wedding . Thank you for such a beautiful, affordable option!"

“I ordered bulk flowers for my daughter's wedding . The flowers were exceptionally beautiful and fresh. Ordering was easy. Very nice and helpful humans work there! And a few cats, too. The owner is a top notch environmentally conscious flower farmer and floral designer."
