Once You’ve Placed Your First Order
Pop some champagne! Your business is now supporting several other small businesses, making your customers happier with outstanding product, AND helping to heal our earth! Not shabby for 10 minutes of work, eh?!
You’ll receive an automatic generic confirmation email from the Rooted Farmers platform immediately after your order is place. You will also receive a personal email from us, the Philadelphia Floral Guild, within 48 hours of your first order. Be sure to look for this email! It may end up in your junk folder. This email contains lots of important information, including detailed driving directions for finding the Hub, guidance for using the loading area efficiently, and log in details so you can access our members only section here on the website.
We invite new customers to pick up their orders from the Hub so we can meet you in person and you can see one of PFG’s farms for yourself. Our Hub is currently open Wednesdays from 10:30AM to 1:30PM. Please check your order confirmation for which date you selected to pick up and be sure to come that day during the open hours. We are unable to hold orders over between pick up days or accommodate pick-ups after hours.
Once you are an established customer, you may opt for delivery when available.

The Impact of Local
What can locally grown stems do for your floral business?
Less Shrink: Without the stress of a long ride in the global supply chain, our stems are superior in quality with much less breakage and far better hydration.
Less Labor: Our growers do all the work of a studio assistant, stripping stems and making fresh cuts on stems that go directly into water and never leave a water source. This means you do not have to process anything!
Less Trash: There are no boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, box straps, plastic sleeves, and all the other usual trash that comes with a flower delivery from the traditional wholesaler.
What can locally grown stems do for our earth?
Less Carbon Burned: Imported flowers in the US typically travel 2,500 or more miles in refrigerated planes, trucks and boats to reach you.
Less Chemicals: During the growing process, imported flowers are exposed to 100+ chemicals that are banned in the U.S. These are chemicals that end up in our water and make it very hard to compost them in an ethical way when we’re done.
More Healthy Habitat: Our local farms intentionally create critically needed habitat and support healthy soil stewardship to ensure our region’s ecosystem can better weather the storms ahead.
