We are deeply delighted to welcome a new farm, Slabtown Petal Pickers, to Philly Floral Guild this season! After four decades in horticulture and dairy farming, in 2019 owner Stacey Harrell “retired” to create beautiful gardens on former horse pastures. Not surprisingly, she got hooked on cut flowers and her retirement project blossomed into a two acre sustainable flower farm located in Elmer NJ along Slabtown Road. Stacey loves to grow bold colors and anything with unusual shapes and textures, including lots of herbs.
Stacey farms with her husband and, along with all the flowers, they enjoy the company of a pony, a donkey, a dog and a cat.
Slabtown Petal Pickers has been selling to southern NJ florists for several seasons and is excited to now be able to serve more florists in a wider area by teaming up with PFG. We can’t wait to get Slabtown Petal Pickers’ stems into your hands!
